They are cool. Chocolate/coffee color. They are hard, rigid, good for a barefoot transition. The size matches.

They run a bit large — i probably could’ve gone with size 38, but for colder weather i can just wear thicker socks, so there’s some room to adjust. Size 38 might have been a snug fit.
The laces let you secure them well on your feet.
They’re quite warm — at +16 ° C they feel too hot and my feet sweat, but at +5 ° C they’re just right. I think they’ll be fine even at –5 ° C.
The “leather” feels a bit stiff to me, probably because i usually wear textile or nubuck shoes. But for rainy weather, these should be just what’s needed.
There’s plenty of space in the toe box — both in width and height — you can actually move your toes freely.
The instep area (around the laces) isn’t very high; a slightly higher one would’ve been more comfortable.
The sole is flexible but not as thin as a true barefoot shoe — which is fine for me.
